Suspect Cognitive Decline in a Loved One? Here’s What to do Next

Noticing changes in a spouse, parent or friend? Worried about a decline in a loved one’s memory or mental ability? Led by geriatrics expert, Dr. Tina Sadarangani, this essential workshop will help you identify signs of cognitive decline and offer critical advice and next steps for caregivers.

In this session, we’ll explore:

  • Differentiating Cognitive Decline vs. Normal Age Related Changes: Learn the signs, stages, and progression of conditions like dementia and Alzheimer’s.

  • The value of early intervention: Why can't we just let it go and see what happens?

  • Finding a specialist: A neurologist? A psychologist? My primary care doctor? Where does one start.

  • Questions to ask and things to think about: Explore services and tools that can offer additional support.

Led by Tina Sadarangani. An advisor to Sidekick Concierge, Tina is an Assistant Professor and NIH-funded Principal Investigator at New York University. She holds a PhD and completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on older adults and is a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of clinical experience. A passionate advocate for family caregivers, Tina created a mobile app, CareMobi, to help families keep track of their loved one’s health
