Book Discussion - How To Know A Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen by David Brooks

“There is one skill that lies at the heart of a healthy person,… or society: the ability to see someone else deeply and make them feel seen— to accurately know another person, to let them feel valued, heard, and understood.” — David Brooks

Social scientists agree that personal connections are one of the keys to longevity, optimal health, and happiness; yet, people are lonelier and more disconnected than ever before. David Brooks' new book, How To Know A Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen explores the skills we need to make meaningful connections, see others deeply and be understood ourselves.

Join us to discuss David Brooks’ insightful new book. Our discussion will focus on Part 1 of the book, “I See You."
